This is an example of an 'interesting' looking place to live.
Here is what many of the residential buildings look like around Tel Aviv. They were influenced by the Bahaus movement from Europe back in the 1930s. It's amazing how many of the buildings looks so similar to this building here.Today starts sabat, which is the Jewish day of rest. Many of the Jews will greet each other by saying 'sabot shalom'. Everything on Friday night to Saturday dusk is shut down, unless it's run by arabs or non-Jews. Very few stores or restaurants are open.
Tonight at the cafe we hung out at for a bit we have terin, which is made from seasame and has the consistency of humus. it's really good. You have it with bread.
